Warcraft 3 is a full 3D Real Time Strategy Game released by Blizzard Entertainment in 2002.

Primarily in the Additional Screenshots, where I posted my progress through a game, and explained it as it went. *Note* I put alot of effort into explaining some of the screenshots in immense detail, please open all spoilers to see even more additional information on certain aspects of the game. It was quite time consuming, but I enjoyed doing it and perhaps I can inspire some to try it out! Thank you for reading my introduction, and I hope you enjoy my review. In the hundred+ games I probably played, few could come close to the top, as this one has.

This game (alike my Pharaoh review 4 years ago), definitely deserved the time and effort for a review. I doubt few games could ever captivate me in the way Warcraft 3 did. (FYI I was 13 in 2002)Д®ven now, a decade after I got that computer, I am still consumed by the games unending entertainment, and infinite unpredictable gameplay capabilities. This allowed me to run the game's amazing 3D graphics smoothly. I was sadly unable to play it very well on my weak graphics card that only ran the likes of Diablo and Starcraft games, but I was able to convince my parents to purchase just a newer computer, not a special computer for gaming, but simply a newer computer that had a better graphics card in it already. Perhaps there is still yet hope for another RTS title release for the Warcraft franchise. I always fear that the end of the Warcraft RTS would come with the release of an MMORPG based on the same story. But this was the game that continued the Warcraft franchise from the early-mid 90's and bolstered the franchise fanbase for future releases including the WC3 Expansion Set, in 2003, and inevitably World of Warcraft in 2004, which continues to release expansion titles. It was released two years before World of Warcraft, and was the rejuvinating factor to lull back the Warcraft fanbase (from the older Warcraft RTS games) in preparation for the global conquering MMORPG, WoW. I couldn't stress enough how awe-inspiring this game was for me. The introduction of smaller armies, better graphics, special unique heroes, items to use, levels to gain, creeps to kill, and more factions and maps to play made this RTS a revolutionary one. Many of the fanbase were indeed Starcraft enthusiasts who switched games for the different atmosphere of gameplay, which was one of the key pushes for me to do the same. In 2002, it was breakthrough year for 3D RTS games with WC3 being an extremely popular, and highly rated release.
